A family story
The original Villa Magia property was built in the 18th century as a watchtower to warn the inhabitants of Positano of the arrival of the Saracen pirates, so they could seek safety on the hills of Montepertuso.
Two further floors were added in the 20th century, making the villa one of the largest on the entire Amalfi Coast.
In the 1990s our family purchased this splendid estate with incomparable views, and over time with our sons we have added to the property and renovated numerous other neighboring properties.
This is the story of Villa Magia: by uniting some of the most evocative properties of the cascade of cliffside houses in Positano, this luxury boutique hotel was born. This is a local story, the story of our family from Positano, where we now welcome guests on a series of gorgeous terraces overlooking the Gulf of Positano.
In recent years, as our Villa Magia house has grown, our collaborators have also grown. Now our extended Magia family is pleased to offer all our guests an unforgettable experience, filled with the same passion from the very beginning.
